Warranty Statement
Installation Warranty:
1.Climar Industries Ltd and Colourfence® Ltd do not provide any warranties related to the fitting or installation of fencing, gates, railings, sheds, or any other Climar products. The fitting warranty is solely provided by the company, business, or individual who installed your products. This includes any issues arising from the fitting process, which are not covered by Climar Industries Ltd or Colourfence® Ltd.
Material Warranty for Gates:
The materials used in the manufacture of gates are warranted by Climar Industries Ltd for defects in materials or workmanship at the time of production. However, once the gate is installed, Climar Industries Ltd and Colourfence® Ltd do not provide any warranty against materials or fitting, for any damage or failure resulting from:
– Damage sustained after installation resulting from maltreatment, accident, neglect, alterations, storms, wind, or any other environmental causes.
Installation Warranty Details:
The installation warranty for your product is provided by your Colourfence® Approved Installer, as indicated on the front of this certificate. Installations are warrantied for 2 years from the date of installation as shown on the invoice provided by the approved installer.
To qualify for this installation warranty, all component parts of the fence must have been fitted by the Approved Installer.
Exclusions:
- This warranty supersedes all other warranties or conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied.
- No liability can be accepted for any other direct or indirect losses or damages, including injury to persons, damage to property, or consequential loss or damage, however they occur.
- Natural reduction of paint gloss is not covered by this warranty.
- This warranty does not apply where product failure is due to any of the following:
– Damage sustained after installation resulting from maltreatment, neglect, or alterations made by unauthorised parties.
– Ground movement, structural defects of buildings, or intrusion of vegetation.
– Wind gusts exceeding 130mph, or exposure to extreme weather and ground conditions.
– Contact with corrosive substances, including harmful chemicals, pool water, runoff from lead or copper, or wet or treated timber, or insufficient cleaning.
– The product being located within 1 km of severe industrial, coastal, or other corrosive environments.
– Acts of God.
– Fence panels over 2.1m in height or 2.4m width are not covered against wind damage.
– Installations mounted on walls are not covered against wind damage.
– Water ingress or condensation for ColourShed® products.
Extension of Benefit:
The benefit of this warranty extends only to the original buyer.
Material Warranty:
Climar Industries Ltd provides a comprehensive warranty for all products manufactured by the company. We guarantee that all products are free from defects in material and manufacturing processes for a period of 25 years from the date of purchase. Climar Industries Ltd does not provide any warranty relating to the fitting of its products.
This warranty is subject to the terms and conditions set out by Climar Industries Ltd, which can be found on their website http://www.Colourfence.co.uk.
To avail of this warranty, the customer must provide an official receipt detailing proof and date of purchase. If a defect is found or arises in a product covered by this warranty, Climar Industries Ltd will repair or replace the defective item only and does not cover any labour or additional expense relating to its installation.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. It does not cover defects or damage caused by misuse, improper installation, maintenance, or any modification to the manufacturer’s specification.
Climar Industries Ltd reserves the right to inspect and determine the cause of any defect in a product covered by this warranty. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective component and does not cover any other costs, damages, or losses.
This warranty is in addition to any other rights that the customer may have under applicable law. The terms and conditions of this warranty may be amended or modified by Climar Industries Ltd at any time without prior notice.
