Price Comparisons
We check our prices periodically against those of Forestgarden products who manufacture timber fencing which is widely available from most large garden centres. We do not try to compete in price against cheap lap panel fencing but believe we are comparable to feather edge or closeboard products, Below are price comparisons of our most common configurations a 1.8m high plain panel, and a 1.8m high Lattice Panel.
And remember, Colourfence panels are 30% wider than standard so you need less of them, and they don't require expensive annual treatments.
Colourfence Prices
Although our material prices are fixed, the cost of installation can vary slightly according to site conditions so labour is not included in the pricing table below. As a guide, fitting costs start from just £30 per panel although minimum charges may apply in some areas and are subject to site survey. All prices quoted exclude VAT. For an indicative cost including fitting and VAT, please take advantage of our Ready Reckoner facility. Our panels are 2.4m in width rather than the standard 1.8m and include posts so please do bear this in mind if undertaking price comparisons based on the table below alone. The table details our standard fence heights but the system is component based, and can be cut to any height or width on site. Lattice panels come with ball caps as standard, plain panels with flat caps. Ball caps can be added to a plain panel at £3.70 (ex VAT) per cap or if you would prefer a flat finish to your latticed panel, simply deduct £3.70 (ex VAT) per cap. One of our trained surveyors will need to visit the installation site before we can confirm a more accurate price in writing, although this is obviously a completely no obligation service. Accessories Gates come in so many heights, widths and finishes that the prices we can give you on this website can only be indicative. The panel below shows the cost of typical installations at 1.8m high. Single gates have a 90cm opening, extra wide up to 160cm, and double driveway gates up to 300cm. The prices quoted include the gate itself, posts from which to hang it and standard fitting. For your specific requirements we suggest you contact us to discuss the various options.
